Fairfield, NJ, January 15, 2025 – DeltaBlaze, a fintech firm focused on workflow management for MBS & ABS Sales & Trading desks, has announced an upgrade to its FinBlaze platform. Released today, the Multi Trade Entry Screen allows users to book multiple trades at once off of a single Bid Wanted in Competition, or BWIC.
The ability to book multiple trades off a single BWIC is important because it increases execution efficiency and reduces operational risk. Since a BWIC often includes dozens or even hundreds of line items, being able to process multiple trades simultaneously enables dealers and investors to quickly lock in prices, manage risk, and avoid market moves.
The new functionality allows the FinBlaze user to enter all required fields for each trade: pay-up, strike, commission values, trade book, etc. If the user had already entered bids on the BWIC, those bids will be pre-populated once the screen comes up. Additionally, if any swap trades exist on pools in the BWIC, they can collapse into single trades per unique TBA.
“This screen allows for heightened efficiency when booking trades, since several can be booked at once, rather than creating each ticket one-by-one,” said DeltaBlaze CTO, John Reed. “It also prevents errors by allowing the user a comprehensive overview of the data they’re submitting before it finally flows down.”
The Multi Trade Entry Screen follows also a number of developments to the FinBlaze platform in the last twelve months, including e-trading connectivity and the ability to manage Pot lists.
